The Fine Print

  1. Gift certificates and unused portions of Gift Certificates should be redeemed within 36 months from the date of issuance. Gift certificate holders will be given an additional 6 month grace period to spend their Gift Certificates. We will endevour to contact the certificate holder after this period before we make the certificate invalid.
  2. Gift certificates can be redeemed through the madelena.com Web site, http://madelena.com, at our booth at any show we are at, or, they can be used to pay for goods purchased from 'madelena' eBay auctions. Gift certificates may not be redeemed for the purchase of products sold by any other person or entity.
  3. Gift certificates cannot be used to purchase Gift Certificates.
  4. Gift certificates are not redeemable for cash and cannot be returned for a cash refund.
  5. Any unused balance will be placed in the recipient's gift certificate account and is not transferable. The original expiration date will apply to any unused balance.
  6. If your order exceeds the amount of your Gift Certificate, you must pay for the balance using one of our other payment methods.
  7. Gift certificate cash value is 1/10 of one cent.
  8. We cannot be responsible for lost or stolen Gift Certificates once a certificate has been activated. Although our system is designed to prevent misuse in this situation, we offer no guarantee that we can prevent someone else using the certificate. If you contact us immediately in the event of loss or theft of your Gift Certificate, and it has not been redeemed, we will cancel the Gift Certificate and send you a new one for the same value. We will also contact you if we suspect anything untoward when we receive a payment by Gift Certificate.
  9. madelena.com will have the right to close customer accounts and request alternative forms of payment if a fraudulently obtained Gift Certificate is redeemed and used to make purchases on the madelena.com Web site.
  10. madelena.com may provide Gift Certificate purchasers with information about the redemption status of Gift Certificates.
  11. madelena.com may change these Terms and Conditions at any time so long as it is in the best interest of our customers.
